Field Reservations

The City of West Richland has updated the field reservation process. Beginning in January 2020, applications will be accepted in person or via email.

Event Reservations

West Richland City parks and sports facilities are available for special events and group use by reservation. In some cases, there is no fee for West Richland residents reserving park facilities for personal use.

Bombing Range Sports Complex Regional Park – Parking Spaces: 137 (West lot) and 117 (East Lot)

25 Acres with picnic tables, play structures, swings, bathrooms, playfields, benches, dog water stations, bike racks, paved pathways, electricity available

The Bombing Range Sports Complex currently has four baseball fields with backstops, scoreboard, dugouts and fencing. The Sports Complex also has six soccer fields; a football field with goals and scoreboard; practice areas for baseball, soccer, and youth football; paved and lighted parking lot, walkways, large play equipment, restrooms, and two clubhouse/concession stands.

The Richland Youth Football League, Tri-City Youth Soccer Association, Columbia Basin Soccer Association, and the Greater Richland Little League are some of the associations utilizing these fields.

Flat Top Community Park Community Park – Over 180 parking spaces (shared with Park and Ride)

10 Acres with picnic tables, shelters, BBQs, play structures, swings, bathrooms, play fields, benches, basketball court, dog water station, transit access, paved pathways. There is electricity available. A Veteran’s Memorial is located in the park.

Flat Top Park is the City’s central and flagship park. The park contains a community pavilion with sinks and workroom, playfields, tennis/basketball court, small playground equipment, picnic area, horseshoe pits and restrooms. The lower play field adjacent to the Bombing Range Road is open as a practice field.

The park is the site of many events including Concerts at the Pavilion, Movie Night in the Park and Carols & Cocoa.

Park at the Lakes Community Park / Trails – 29 parking spaces at the Bombing Range Rd trailhead; approximately 6 parking spaces at the Lakeside Ln trailhead

This park is nearly 20 acres in total size (including open space) with picnic tables, benches and paved pathways.

South Highlands Park Community Park – No parking lot

This 2.5 acre park features picnic tables, BBQ, play structures, benches, basketball and tennis courts, and dog water stations. There are also bike racks.

Glenn Memorial Park A 1.6 acre park with 24 parking spaces (shared with the Senior Center facility), picnic tables, play structure, bathrooms, playfields, benches, basketball courts, dog water stations, bike racks. Paul Keith Wetland Reserve This park is 8.5 acres of open space with a new walking path. The preserve is located off of Keene Road, near the intersection with W. Lattin.
Yellowstone Trail Park This park is almost 1 acre with approximately 8 parking spaces; there is a community garden with 42 raised garden beds available for rental. The park was named after the “Yellowstone Trail,” the first transcontinental automobile highway in the United States, which ran right along Van Giesen next to this new park’s location. 106 Austin Dr, West Richland
