Maintenance Worker II – Water Department

The City of West Richland is looking for a Maintenance Worker II to aid in the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system, dewatering, and irrigation system. This position supports the operation and maintenance of the City’s water production facilities, pumping and storage facilities, and ensures the safe production and delivery of the City’s water supply.

Hiring Range: $4,000 – $5,000 mth DOQ

Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent
Four years’ experience in water treatment and distribution system installation
Water Manager Certification II
CDL Class A with tanker endorsement
Flagger Certification

Preferred
Cross Connections Specialist Certification
Backflow Assembly Tester Certification
Pesticide License

For the right candidate, the City will pay for the training, test and license of a CDL Class A license.

Wasterwater Treatment Plant Operator

The City of West Richland is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. This position is responsible for the continuous operation of the City’s wastewater treatment plant and industrial treatment facility. The ideal candidate can collaborate effectively with others, make sense of complex and contradictory information, solves problems effectively, ensures accuracy, and manages details.

$4,500 – $6,500 Month DOQ

Three years’ experience in the operation/maintenance of wastewater treatment plant. Washington State CDL Class A with tanker endorsement
Sewer Treatment Plant Operator II Certification
Flagger Certification

Pesticide Application Certification.
For the right candidate, the City will pay for the training, test and license of a CDL Class A license.
