2-14-19 – 9:45 a.m. – Ruppert Road, from Van Giesen to city limits, is closed as of 9:45 a.m. this morning due to white out conditions and snow drifts. No estimated time of reopening Ruppert Road is available at this time.
2-10-19 – 7:15 p.m. – Ruppert Road is now open. However, some portions of the road are reduced to one lane due to snow drifts.
2-10-19 – Our maintenance crews have had the city’s 4 snow plows, along with 5 contracted front end loaders and a road grader working nonstop to clear arterial roadways, residential roadways and cul-de-sacs. The goal is to have at least one pass of residential roadways and cul-de-sacs by tomorrow at noon.

UPDATED: Roadways are still extremely hazardous. Maintenance crews have been remobilized and will be working around the clock to clear arterial roadways. Please be safe and stay home and off the roads to allow the maintenance crews to safely remove snow drifts.

Due to extremely dangerous road conditions, no visibility and deep snow drifts, we are urging everyone to stay home and off the roads. It is now too dangerous for public works employees to be out sanding and plowing. Once wind speeds calm down and visibility returns, crews will be back out clearing roads. Thank you for your patience.
