April 23 – Earth Day Cleanup – Enterprise Middle School
Residents may dispose of household garbage and yard debris free of charge, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Enterprise Middle School. Commercial garbage will not be accepted. Fluorescent, CFL, and HID lights can also be recycled courtesy of LightRecycle Washington.
This event would not be possible without the more than 60 community volunteers. If you would like to lend a hand, please contact the Planning Department at 967-5902.
June 16 – Hogs & Dogs Family Festival at the Bombing Range Sports Complex
The West Richland Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Hogs & Dogs Family Festival in West Richland at the Bombing Range Sports Complex on June 16th.

August 2 – National Night Out – Flat Top Park
On August 2nd, neighborhoods throughout West Richland are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 31st Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime and drug prevention event.
Join your neighbors and officers from the West Richland Police Department for an evening of community fun! Visit with police officers, play games, and enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs as you learn more about crime prevention. Child identification kits will be available at no charge.

September 17- Harvest Festival – Flat Top Park
The annual Harvest Festival, sponsored by Red Mountain Lions Club, is being held on Saturday, September 17th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Flat Top Park.
There will be vendor booths, fun games for the kids and more. Benton County Fire District #4 will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs as a fundraiser.
Bring the family down for a fun day at the park!
September 24 & 25 – Time of Remembrance – Flat Top Park (Sept. 24 is at Columbia Park)
On September 24th and 25th, the 10th annual Time of Remembrance will be held to honor the families and comrades of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho’s Fallen. This tribute is being held to honor those who have died for their country and the families left behind.
A Candlelight Vigil will take place at Columbia Park at the Veteran’s Memorial in Kennewick. The public is invited to join the families at the beautiful Candlelight Ceremony next to the Columbia River on September 24th. The Vigil will start at 7:30 p.m.
On Sunday, September 25th, at 11:00 a.m., there will be an official State Recognition Ceremony at Flat Top Park. We encourage all citizens to attend this important event as we give back to those who have given their all. Please help us welcome the Families of the Fallen from the States of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
November 5 – Veterans Day Parade on Van Giesen Street
The annual Veterans Day Parade on Van Giesen Street in West Richland will take place on November 5, 2015.
