Local Schools and Education

The City of West Richland is served by the Richland School District.  RSD schools within the city include Wiley Elementary, Tapteal Elementary and  Enterprise Middle School.  The RSD is also constructing a new middle school that will open in West Richland in 2017 near the intersection of Keene and Belmont Blvd.  Students within West Richland also attend schools in Richland:  White Bluffs Elementary, Lewis and Clark Elementary, Homelink, Richland High School, Hanford High School and Delta High.  Visit the Richland School District website for boundary maps.

Mid-Columbia Library System

The city of West Richland partners with the Mid-Columbia Library System.  The West Richland library branch is located at 3803 W Van Giesen Street.  The library system also offers an extensive digital collection.  The West Richland Branch of Mid-Columbia Libraries opened to the public in 1996. West Richland has enjoyed library services since 1957.

Port of Kennewick

The City of West Richland lies within the Port of Kennewick district.  The Port of Kennewick is a very important economic development partner.  The Port of Kennewick was established in 1915 and is celebrating their centennial year in 2015!
