Planning & Community Development Department

The Planning & Community Development Department works with the City Council, Planning Commission, and citizens to maintain the City as a desirable place to live, work, and play.  The department prepares, maintains, and administers the City's Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision Regulations.  It also prepares land use studies, annexations, environmental studies, special permit requirements, and variance requests.  The department provides staff support for the Planning Commission, Economic Development Board, and Board of Adjustment.

We are located at 3801 W. Van Giesen in the Community Services Building.  Our hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
