Seasonal Maintenance Worker
The City of West Richland is accepting applications for seasonal maintenance workers in the Public Works Department. Job duties may include trimming and mowing lawns, replacing, repairing and installing water and sewer mains, routine repair and maintenance of facilities, patching streets, painting crosswalks, cleaning and burning debris in rights-of-way, routine maintenance of storm drainage facilities, and litter patrol. Position is 40 hours/week (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.) with a term up to 6 months. Pre-employment drug test is required.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively, perform manual activities for sustained periods of time under adverse weather conditions, possess a valid Washington State driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record, and be 18 years of age.
