DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL
The proposed project includes the construction of two new 6,100 square feet buildings for commercial businesses on the 1.22 acre site with associated parking, utility, grading, and landscaping improvements. The proposed site is located near the intersection of Paradise Way and Bombing Range Rd and is addressed as 1605 Bombing Range Rd (Parcel No.: 1-0698-402-0236-003). The site is currently zoned Commercial General (CG) in which commercial buildings are an allowed use.
The proposal is subject to environmental review. The West Richland Community Development Department is the lead agency for the proposal under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) and is currently reviewing the proposed action for probable adverse environmental impacts and is likely to issue a mitigated determination of non-significance (DNS) for this proposal on or after April 6, 2022. The comment period for the environmental review concludes at 5:00 p.m. on April 5, 2022. The environmental checklists and related file information are available to the public at the Community Development Department.
