NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with West Richland Municipal Code (WRMC) Chapter 12.40, a public hearing to consider the proposed vacation of an access easement will be held before the West Richland City Council on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. The date and time of the public hearing was set by Council with the passage of Resolution 02-23 on January 17, 2023.
The City Council’s public hearing on the proposed vacation will be conducted in the manner required by WRMC Chapter 12.40. Anyone objecting to the proposed vacation should attend the public hearing or send a letter to the City indicating his or her objection prior to the public hearing date. Comments should be submitted to the Community Development Department at 3100 Belmont Blvd., Suite 104, West Richland, WA 99353 or via email to Associate Planner Elisha Ransom at eransom@westrichland.org.
Due to the global pandemic, the public hearing will be held in person in the City Council Chambers at 3100 Belmont Blvd, West Richland, WA 99353 with an option for participation via online video. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL
The applicant, Yarjan Sidiqi, submitted an application for an access easement vacation, along with the applicable fee on behalf of the property owner, the Islamic Center of Tri-Cities (ICTC). The site is 2900 Bombing Range Rd, legal description Willamette Heights, Section 8, Lot 208 (Parcel No: 108983020208000). The easement sought to be vacated is the east 33 feet of Lot 208 of Section 8 of the Willamette Heights Plat.

The proposal is not subject to environmental review (SEPA).
